You may recall that 30 years ago, the United Nations approved the Beijing Declaration, which since then has been the cornerstone of the global women’s rights movement.

The Beijing Declaration makes numerous references to “gender equality.” And though the gender disparities affecting men were well documented even then, the UN has inexplicably done nothing to address the 12 areas of male disadvantage: www.menandboys.net

This lamentable state of affairs is about to change.

Why work is (still) not working for women

Article here. I read essays like this one and the lack of mention of what men have to deal with especially in the non-Western world (killed in mine cave-ins, by forced military service, industrial accidents, etc.) is glaring. The author is clearly all about and only about the trials of women. This is feminist thinking in action. Excerpt:

'Unpaid work. Sexual harassment. Violence. Low wages. The “motherhood penalty.” These are just some of the issues that millions of women continue to face at work in 2025.

Despite progress made towards global gender equality, men continue to hold the highest paid positions in industries worldwide, while many women still typically handle grunt work across companies and supply chains.

Meanwhile, many women around the world are still struggling to find work, with many holding precarious jobs or forced to hustle in the informal economy just to get by.'

Jobless, isolated, fed misogynistic porn… where is the love for Britain’s lost boys?

Article here. Generally gynocentric, of course, but it's a start anyway. Excerpt:

'The boys are not all right. That’s the message from a new Centre for Social Justice report, Lost Boys, published last week. It surveys how boys and young men are faring in Britain and finds that in several areas there is now a reverse gender gap, with boys, particularly those from poorer backgrounds, struggling to keep up with girls.

When it comes to education, girls outperform boys at GCSEs and A-levels, and the ratio of women to men at university is 60:40. Boys are more than twice as likely to be excluded from school, with rates of exclusion particularly high for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. This is all feeding through into labour market outcomes: in the 00s, women aged 16-24 were more likely to be not in employment, education and training than young men; in recent years, that has flipped, with young men also significantly more likely to be unemployed than young women.

Donald Tusk announces military training plan for all Polish men

Article here. Excerpt:

'Work is under way to make all men in Poland undergo military training, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.

In a speech to the Polish parliament, Tusk said the government aimed to give full details in the coming months.

Efforts are being made to "prepare large-scale military training for every adult male in Poland," he told the Sejm.

"We will try to have a model ready by the end of this year so that every adult male in Poland is trained in the event of war, so that this reserve is comparable and adequate to the potential threats."
...
Tusk said women may also undergo military training, but "war, is still to a greater extent the domain of men".'

Call to Action

Post here. Excerpt:

This is an important call to action related to the previous video on Breaking the Feminist Lock on the Family. This post offers phone numbers and web addresses where you can suggest that the appointees to ACF and OCSS are not radical feminists and more importantly that you offer Stephen Baskerville and ThisIsShah as your choices for appointees.

NCFM Open Letter to DOGE re the Violence Against Women Act

Letter available here. Excerpt:

'The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) provides funding for military DV programs, which are influenced by VAWA, thereby distorting overall military effectiveness, supported by Women Industry civilian contractors with ties to VAWA-funded programs outside the military establishment. We are directly involved in several military cases wherein highly awarded, competent, and career-minded personnel have been or are being railroaded out of the military and even imprisoned due to false accusations driven by political pressure, command staff, and agreeable, if not inept, judge advocate attorneys.

Corruption, malfeasance, and maladministration must stop. Those involved must be held accountable, go to prison, and make restitution. Restitution should be to the state and to those who have been harmed.

Hence the open letter to DOGE below. Please pass it around. It may help. Post it wherever you can please on social media sites.'

UK: 'Toxic masculinity’ on rise with most young women scared of men their age

Article here. Excerpt:

'Most young women are scared of men their age, according to a poll which reveals the impact of so-called “toxic masculinity” on the sexes.

Nearly two-thirds of women aged 18 to 24 are living in fear of their male peers, research by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) found.

With International Women’s Day on Saturday, a Whitestone Insight survey commissioned by the think tank found that 62 per cent of young women believe most young men are “pretty frightening”.

More than two-fifths of young men (41 per cent) agree with their female counterparts.

The finding features in Lost Boys, a study published by the CSJ that details the plight of Britain’s boys and young men.

Not only are males now falling behind females in education and the workplace, but they are also increasingly viewed with suspicion by women.'

Can White Men Finally Stop Complaining?

Article here. Feminists want men, esp. white ones, to be silent and fade away. We're not gonna do that. In fact, we're just getting started! Excerpt:

'OK, men, so will you finally quit complaining?

In 2021, Joe Rogan famously said, “It will eventually get to straight white men are not allowed to talk…It will be, ‘You’re not allowed to go outside’…I’m not joking. It really will get there, it’s that crazy.” But Rogan’s complaint is actually an old one that has exploded as a rallying cry every decade or so for more than 50 years. White guys have blamed others for their job losses, educational failures, economic problems and drug addictions.

Somebody else is always at fault. The mighty white guy, it turns out, is quite the delicate flower.

Lawsuit Claims California Discriminates against Its Boys and Its Men

Article here. Excerpt:

'The National Coalition for Men (NCFM) filed a lawsuit against the state of California for violating the equal rights of boys and of men.

Suicide, overdose, and alcohol death in California increased 49% for its boys and men from 2018 and 2019 to 2022 and 2023, and boys and men account for 75% of all the deaths of despair in California—a topic I discuss in my new book Boys, A Rescue Plan: Moving Beyond the Politics of Masculinity to Healthy Male Development and coauthored with New York Times best-selling author Michael Gurian. We argue that brain-sex difference matters and understanding those differences are critical in helping boys and men and girls and women in all sorts of areas.

Boys and men account for 75% of all the deaths of despair in California.

‘It’s a scary time’: Sophie Lewis on the ‘enemy feminisms’ that enable the far right

Article here. Eventually any given 'ism' gets branches and at least some of those will grow contrary to the well-being of the rest of the proverbial tree. I'm liking this. Excerpt:

'The occasion for these declarations was Trump’s all-out assault on trans rights. Since taking office, the president has used executive orders to attempt to restrict the ability of trans Americans to travel, work, receive medical care, serve in the military, attend school and participate in women’s sports. Though there are thought to be fewer than 10 trans athletes among the more than half a million competing in college sports in the US, it was this sports-related executive order that prompted certain, trans-exclusionary feminists to declare Trump’s feminist bona fides.

How did we get here? How have we arrived at a place where self-identified feminists ally themselves with a man who has so extravagantly dedicated his personal and political lives to the humiliation, domination and degradation of women and girls?

UK: Woman who groomed and abused young boy jailed

Article here. Excerpt:

'A woman who groomed and sexually assaulted a young boy over several months has been jailed for four years.

Caitlin Hutchinson, 21, of Roker Avenue in Sunderland, sent the victim sexually explicit text messages and made him carry out sex acts on her.

Durham Police said Hutchinson initially denied the offences and told officers the boy had forced himself on her.

The boy, who is in his early teens, said the last 18 months had been hell and he could not forgive Hutchinson for "ruining his childhood".'

Rise Up Foundation graduates first all-boys class from Healthy Masculinity Project

Article here. Excerpt:

'The Rise Up Foundation held a graduation ceremony Wednesday evening at The Linc for 31 young men who completed the Healthy Masculinity Project, marking the first time the program has been offered as an all-boys class.

The program, developed in partnership with A Call to Men and Scholastic, is designed to challenge gender norms and promote respect, accountability and leadership in young men. Participants came from across Mid-Missouri, including Columbia, Moberly and Jefferson City.

Each graduate received a teal tie, the color representing sexual assault awareness, and a City of Jefferson proclamation recognized the program’s efforts in promoting leadership and violence prevention.'

Home Ownership Gender Gap?

'This article starts by saying Single women own millions more homes than single men in the US — and the gap is only growing. It offers some ideas about why that is... but what did they leave out?'

Violence by Women Soars in California

Article here. Short version: Women are (finally) being arrested more often for DV. Excerpt:

'On the increase in the female violent crime arrest rate specifically, Lofstrom and senior researcher for the Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice, Mike Males, told Newsweek that increased domestic violence policing that began in the 1980s is a major factor.

"While men are more likely to be arrested for violence throughout society, women's violence arrests disproportionately occur from domestic incidents," Males said.

UK: Firemen are too male and too white, say chiefs

Article here. Excerpt:

'Britain’s fire service is too male and too white, a report has claimed.

The report, which was commissioned by the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC), found that the fire service was “institutionally racist, misogynistic and homophobic”.

It said firemen in Britain were not “diverse” enough because the service’s proportion of women and ethnic minorities is less than in wider society.

Produced by an advisory group focused on improving diversity, equality and inclusion in the fire service, the report found that 9.3 per cent of firefighters were women and 5.4 per cent belonged to ethnic minorities as of March 2024.'
